Training school for circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and circulating tumor cells (CTC) was held on March 28-30, 2022, at Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark. It was co-organized by TRANSCOLONCAN COST Action together with DCCC Danish Research Center for ctDNA, TRACEPIGEN (Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia), and the European Liquid Biopsies Academy- ELBA.
TRACEPIGEN member Dr Ivana Boljevic and two PhD students from the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia Aleksandra Stefanovic and Katarina Zivic, participated in a Liquid Biopsy Training School in Aarhus to learn more about ctDNA and CTCs. Together with other 30 young researchers they had the opportunity to learn about the methods for detection, analysis, and the clinical utility of ctDNA and CTCs, and to present papers focused on a particular problem in the field of liquid biopsies. They were also introduced to cutting-edge facilities used for ctDNA analysis.
